Pressure gauge is used to measure and display the system’s pressure rating. Pressure gauge plays an important role in monitoring and ensuring safety within the system. It is made in accordance to EN 837-1. The gauge itself is made up stainless steel and the bottom is made up brass material. It is stem mounted. Pressure gauge has a connection of NPT male thread. It is suitable for hydraulic oil and gaseous media compatible with copper-based alloys. The dial face for pressure gauge is 100MM with stainless steel casing and acrylic sight glass. The accuracies shall be ±1.6% of the full-scale. Here are the steps on reading a pressure gauge. First, match the pointer to the corresponding number on the dial. Then, identify the unit of measurement of the pressure gauge. There are two readings; BAR and PSI. For measurement in BAR, it is the outer black scale reading. While for measurement in PSI, it is the inner red scale reading.
